I have to admit, I’m a huge Apple fan. I own an iPhone, iPod Touch and I recently got my hands on the new Apple iPad. Why do I need all three? Well they all offer different functionally and have different uses for me. However, the iPad has become my mobile production studio! The only thing I was missing until recently was proper studio monitoring headphones. I looked long on hard and eventually went for a pair of Sennheiser HD25 headphones. They offer everything I’m looking for and allow me to create music while I’m on my travels. In my opinion, they are the best iPad headphones money can buy.
Surprisingly the iPad is a great device for making music on. There are lots of applications from the App Store that allow you to do this. There’s even quite a few free applications if you want to give it a try without spending any of your hard earned cash. I make lots of different types of music and so I have quite a variety of applications. The best thing about having great iPad headphones is the clarity of the playback when I’m messing around with a new song. You can actually hear every beep from the synthesizer and in various different ranges which you quite simply wouldn’t be able to do using a pair of ear buds. If you are serious about making music on your iPad I recommend that you look into getting a pair of quality headphones. I would treat it exactly the same if you were looking to buy headphones for studio use. At the end of the day, you essentially have a mobile studio in your hands so you should for best headphones you can afford.
The great thing about the headphones I chose is that they are extremely comfortable to wear. It is easy to wear them while I’m traveling and they are also not to bulky when I’m packing them away in my backpack. They really are the best headphones for the iPad I have found.
