Toshiba has only released few mini laptops in the market but have equaled the rank of ASUS and other leading mini laptop computer manufacturers. Moreover Toshiba has only released small laptops with 10 inch screens and NB205 is one of them.

Design and Features
Toshiba NB205 adorns the market with various attractive colors such as Sable Brown, Frost White, Royal Blue and Pink with glowing power buttons and gleaming bronze hinge. Compared to other Toshiba lightweight laptop models, NB250 is much more compact and slim. The metal keyboard is an attractive feature of the model as the keys are placed spaciously, providing fast and risk free typing.

Another attraction of this device is the touchpad. The 3.1 x 1.6 inch is the largest touchpad available among similar size laptops. The touch pad shines with its metallic finish. It helps the user to run through the items on the screen and left and right buttons are very comfortable to use. NB205 provides a zooming facility that helps the user to enlarge the text and icons. It has a 3D accelerometer that protects the drive from sudden drops. The 802.11b/g Wi-Fi card provides very good performance with efficient wireless connectivity. There are two stereo speakers hidden below the front of the system.

Specifications
The CPU consists of Intel Atom N280 processor, clocked at 1.66 GHz speed. The device has an internal memory of 1 GB, which can be extended to 2 GB. It has 160 GB hard disk with 5,400 rpm speed. The screen size 10.1 inch with 1024 x 600 display resolution. It has three USB ports, a VGA out, audio jacks, Ethernet and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. There is a 0.3 Mpixel webcam with a Camera Assistant Software that can record snapshots and video. It consists of Intel GMA 950 graphic chip. NB 205 has a 6-cell Lithium-ion battery giving more than 6 hours of battery life.

The Good
The unique slender and sleek design is an attraction. The metallic spacious keyboard and the touchpad are also some of the good points of NB250. Good battery life is also an added advantage.

The Bad
NB205 takes long time to boot. The large display bezel is an uncomfortable drawback of the model. It has only 0.3 Mpixel webcam that does not help users to take quality videos or photos. The speaker quality is weaker than similar laptops in the same price range.
